Canadian Health authorities in Canada have limited the travel ban to 10 nations in order to stop from spreading brand new COVID-19 variant. Nigeria, Egypt, and Malawi are listed today.

After arriving in Canada On arrival to Canada, all Canadians who have visited these countries must take a COVID-19 test. Additionally, they will be required to remain in quarantine for 14 consecutive days, and take an exam on the 8th day.

People arriving via land could be permitted to proceed direct to the quarantine site indicated on their quarantine plan. If they don’t have a valid quarantine plan, they’ll need to be taken to an approved quarantine facility.

Health Canada will be contacting travelers who entered Canada in these states within the last two weeks, to inform them they must be tested and then quarantined until they receive the results.

All air passengers (except those via within the U.S.), irrespective of their Canadian visa or vaccination status, are required to undergo tests at the airport at which they arrive in Canada.
